Afternoon folks. New to the forum, owned my 100hp for about 2 weeks now.

Already had a new alternator on! But I'm having issues with my climate control. It will blow cold, and blow hot, but when ive got it set to any temperature it'll randomly change its mind and start blowing hot. And i mean hot. To stop it i have to turn the CC off wait then turn it back on. But doesn't last long!!!

Hope someone can help, yorkshire boys don't do hot weather!!

There is a design issue with the air control flaps. There is a thread on the forum about how to repair the flap pivot which is where the problem really lies.

Presumably you don't have AUTO switched on...if you do, it will choose what temperature air to blow out (and where to send it) in order to get the interior to the temperature on the display. If not then it may be the actuator fault.

also, the temperature sensor (the little grille behind the gearknob) can fill up with dust. You might want to gently hoover it if so, as that could be confusing the thermostat.
