Hello All
Not a Panda driver, but a work colleague who is
She's missing the 12v Socket in her car as many panda's do

I've not yet to investigate if she has the wiring or fuse present in the vehicle
However - i'd like to work on the worst case scenario
She has none of it

I've already asked if she's like it Live Constant - or Ignition switched, she'd prefer ignition switched
This leads to the next question
No issues with going through with wiring a relay etc up for her
Just need to know where is the best place to attach a ignition live feed up for the relay

Is there any fuse's in the fusebox that are also igntion live where i could piggyback fuse off?

or an engine bay feed where i can attach into?

Any info would be great
Already seen the guide - about putting the socket in

Also - could you cheat and use the standard facia fitted and drill a hole and knotch for a lighter unit to fit?

Or does the trim pull out quiet easily?

Ziggy

You can follow the guide or, when I had an active (now sold) I wired direct off the battery with an inline fuse which was easy enough and you can use a 12v relay of any switched source you want. It didnt take long to find an access hole through the firewall. I terminated it in the glovebox with a female extension lead but would have been nicer in the stock location. I did it like that as I didnt have the time and desperately needed a socket for a big trip and it worked well enough that I never changed it.
