Played fuel light bingo over the past few days. Gauge well and truly not moving. I still only got 32 litres in the bl00dy thing. How much further have people gone? I thought this was a 35 litre tank?

About a month ago, I went out with, like the queen, no money. Big mistake.

Had to do 74 miles after the low fuel light went on to get home. Needle was buried at the bottom, but it still started and got me to the garage. Took 34 litres, and I didn't brim it. Must have been on fumes, or rather, dregs, it being the MJ version. No bad after-effects, thankfully.

I've stuck £50 in before but can't remember ppl. I'll run it dry for a max fill up in the week. I drive past 4 fuel stops each way on the school run so I'll be ok.

£50? Blimey, never even get close to that when I fill up. £39 max so far, but I do not tend to run it too low as my livelihood depends on getting around!

I can confirm you can squeeze in 4.54 plus 32.52 = 37.06 litres

A game of fuel light roulette went badly wrong for me resulting in half an hour's walk in the pissing rain with no coat to a petrol station with no bloody fuel cans. And then on to the next one to pick up a gallon of go juice.

The remaining 32.52 litre fill up was a couple of miles down the road so the true figure is probably nearly 37 litres. That's the 35 litre tank plus a little bit for the fuel pipe I suppose.

I must have done at least 70 miles with the light on though. Silly **** that I am :D
