Hello gang

OK, downloaded the eLearn manual (rar), unzipped all files, run the setup installer, however the shortcut then fires up a prompt to insert CD-ROM (in Italian)

So I think the program expects the manual data to be on a separate CD instead of on the hard disk.

Has anyone run this recently or can explain the easiest / best way to use the manual?

I would prefer to have all the files on my HDD.

Thanks in anticipation

I bought a CD off ebay and found that though it put a lot of files on the HDD it always wanted the CD in the tray to run. A pain as mostly I use a netbook with no extl drive.
i too would like a way round this though truthfully I found the information of little use nothing like a Haynes manual.

For all eLEARN manuals, only the user interface is installed onto the computer. The CD needs to be in the drive whenever you want to use it. This way, the desktop icon will be the same for whichever model eLEARN disc you want to use. eLEARN was originally designed for dealers that would have discs for all models.

Only way round this is to instal it on a virtual drive.

There is no Haynes manual for the Stilo.

OK Davren, thanks - so once the main rar is unzipped, should all those files be burnt to cd, then the installer run from there?

Yes.... the RAR file will unzip to a file named "Fiat Nuova Panda.iso". Double click that file and it should open whatever CD burning program you have and burn it to a blank CD. Install the eLEARN interface by double clicking the "setup.exe" file from the CD.

The easy way to have the manual on your pc is....
Download a virtual CD drive from
microsoft web site
Mount the .iso file on the virtual CD drive
Then the program views the virtual CD drive as if it was a real cd.
Great for netbooks that don't have a cd drive.

There are other free virtual drives, 'magic ISO' and 'Daemon tools' to name two.

It shows images, but they are not in PDF format.

It's the workshop manual designed to assist Fiat workshop mechanics, so it doesn't describe every step to complete a task.

This thread relates to the Panda (Mk3) eLearn manual. You would need the Doblo version of it for a Doblo.

Depend what you want to use it for

Most useful things are after you click

On the blue link on the left hand side

Removal-and-Installation

Play around

Torque setting
Engine codes
Common faults
Circuit diagrams

And so on are all in there, just takes a bit of finding

The more you play with it the easier it becomes

It is a little frustrating to start with
