Haha totally agree with this!!

Makes me wonder about the intelligence of the person at the end of my road then, 1 flag per door of the car, 1 on the aerial and at least 8 on the house!!

Welsh people take a dislike to this, I've seen hundreds of stupid tourists driving round with England flags on their car's, doesn't bother me much but if you want your car to remain scratch free whilst holidaying in Wales, then please remove your countries flags, thank you Would you fly an American flag in Vietnam?

p.s. are they something to do with football?

Hi Driagflag87,
Funny story re flags. A bus driver at our place wanted to get back at the English flad brigade so he bought a Welsh flag. He proudly & carefully put it in the drivers side rear window & closed the [electric] window tight.
He then left for work, as usual the first thing he did after joining the main road was light up a fag & open the window. However he hit the wrong window switch & lost his flag :bang:

I've seen you about with the Abarth, alas I'm mostly in the Voyager these days, except when I'm taking the Panda back to Slaters

Ha! i thought you were going to say he threw his fag out and the flag caught fire! There are a lot these bloody flags around here, don't you think? I too have seen a few Welsh ones in retaliation! Haven't spotted you or the Voyager yet though What's up with the Panda then?

As a Scot.....................good luck to England. I know many English supported us in 78 and we all supported the republic and N.Ireland in 84 & 92.

Not saying we all should put flags out but you cant deny the facts that England are the best british team and deserve their place, nothing wrong with wishing them best of luck is there?

Yes ive noticed this, the most flags on the car the worse drivers they are.

I would hope Panda owners would have better taste and not put this rubbish on their cars

So showing patriotism ends up in vandalism? Both as bad as each other in my opinion ....

The only flag on a Panda should be the Italian flag (or the Polish flag, I guess )

Anything else is just mindless faux patriotism.

I guess Welsh people are just proud of their flag, country, language, culture etc it comes across as arrogant when those from other countries come over the border sporting flags in every window. I know some places around here, if you went in wearing an England shirt, you'd need an Ambulance for the way home, not a taxi!

I don't think Welsh people are as "culturally accepting" as the English might be. Took me a long time for Welsh people to stop ignoring me and looking at me like i was something they trod in when i moved here!

Hmmmm. My brother is English and has lived in North Wales for 20 years, so i get where you are coming from. But it is no way as bad as it was when he first moved there, we had two heads !

We need to take our flag back from the lowlife who seem to have adopted it as a symbol of their lifestyle. Most of the people displaying flags will be genuine folk who love football and want to support our national team. Go to France or the USA and see how many fly their flags. All these jokes about erectile dysfunction etc are plain daft. I considered displaying a flag myself but haven't got around to it, and I won't even be watching the football.
