our 1.2 Panda came from Perrys without any problems.
Only had the 100hp 6 weeks and 700 miles and it's been in the garage out of the elements most of the time. Despite the cold I've had the SD tipped slightly open at the back a few times, it's nice to get a bit of real fresh air in. Did manage to have the SD fully open a couple of times on cold sunny days, with side windows up there's no buffeting but it does get a bit noisier. I think it's something for the summer, some of the benefits of open air motoring without the drawbacks. I will enjoy it a lot in better weather and others here that have had one seem to really appreciate it.
It does mean there's a lot less area to polish. Also makes the interior a lot lighter.
On the downside, I gather it reduces the headroom a bit, I'm a SA so can't say. I have read it's a lot heavier than the steel roof so might affect the centre of gravity a bit and might affect the handling, I couldn't say, I know I will never notice and I suspect only the likes of TDQ and them that complain about rattling rear seats (convinced I think due to them doing Evil Knievel jumps over hump back bridges) would.
