Picked up my own Panda on Saturday...identical to the first except for the blue interior (nicer than the yellow) - it's a medium blue, not too dark, not too light :)

So now I get to enjoy the brand new car experience all over again (I ran in the first one for 500 miles)...have to say my gearbox feels a tad notchier and the brakes are a bit spongy compared to the first vehicle, hopefully this will subside as I rack up the miles.

Pity it is awful weather in the uk at the minute, can't get out and enjoy my car! :(

Anyway, here they are together in the wild...with their big ears and everything...

Still can't accept those new wing mirrors :( What on earth were Fiat thinking creating those?? They look MASSIVE and totally out of place on a small car :yuck: I would have to change them for the old style...they look much better IMO and visibility is fine...

Having downsized from a larger car, I think the visibility in the Panda is excellent, its tiny proportions and the large glass area means you can appraise what is around on the road much more quickly..the big mirrors just enhance that further...the dinky mirrors do look better though :)

The brake/accelerator pedals are a bit close together, haven't quite got the hang of always braking without revving yet :)

Still failing to see where the £250 premium for the series two has gone ...it's probably a result of quantatative easing, pound versus euro nonsense. Wheel trims, seatbelt warning, new clocks and grill don't amount to £250, and the 1.2 engine is definitely still the 60bhp version.

Really pleased with both of the cars so far, very well thought through, throughout...I even like how it switches the interior light on when you take the key out :D

Oh and do opt for the blue interior as it makes the stereo sound better than the yellow one :p

There were even some people who were there to look at a 500 having a good admiring nosey around my car after the dealer brought it around to collect :)

the gearbox on our 1.2 was notchy and a bit stiff at first but it improved dramatically after a couple of thousand miles. I like bigger wing mirrors (so long as they're not silver on a white car).

This is what I am hoping will happen...the first Panda's change was silky smooth from the beginning.

Is the rear view mirror in a fixed position...? don't want to snap it off trying to adjust...

Not sure what you mean about the rear mirror Bedbug; it is a bit stiff to move I doubt you could break it off though.
I agree that the weather is limiting at least for me although I have given Dora a good run down the M57 before the bad weather.

I love the big mirrors(y) great for reversing.

At last have figured out how to upload pics.

Liking the red/grey combo...very classy...I should have gone for the alloys myself :)

I love your Panda :yum: (y)

Thanks guys 'alloys' come as standard on the Eleglanza, also have been able to lower the steering wheel which I felt as if my arms were in the air:rolleyes: I don't like to sit up close to the 'wheel'.
Think I've lost a bit of height since my last Panda or have just my arms gone shorter:confused:

Happy chritmas everyone:)

Sorry but i've not been following the other thread, why did you buy 2 ? :)

Only one of them is mine, the other belongs to relatives...but I had to do all the paperwork and mucking about with the dealers, scrappage scheme etc...one arrived a few days before the other so I was able to cover the first few hundred miles in one (borrowing it for work) and now I've finally got mine :)

Can't go too far at the moment though due to the atrocious weather
