Hi all,

had a tow bar fitted a couple of weeks ago and while messing about painting my rear brakes at the weekend noticed that there is no rear inner wing  Now it looks as though there should be a protector on each side black pastic thing I assume. I have had a bit bother with my dealer and dont want to go in shouting and screaming that yet more bits are missing from my car. I have asked to the towbar place to check with the fitters incase they have some extra bits of Panda lying about before I contact the dealer.

Can anybody confirm if these parts are fitted or not? I hope to here from the towbar people tomorrow, however I dont think they will admit to not refitting most of my rear bumper and I just know the garage will blame the towbar fitters :bang:

Thanks in advance for your help.

Paul

For your convenience I ripped off my bumper to reveal a black plastic protector behind the wheel.

 and thank you, you really didnt need to go that far a simple yes would have done :D The above the call of duty is yours by a long way :worship:

Just a quick update dealer has ordered the bits for me should be here Thursday. Spoke to the towbar fitter and he is sure that he did not have to remove any bits other than the bumber main fixings to get the bumper off.

So all I can say is fair play to the dealer credit were credit is due (y)

I hope you get sorted, you would think in todays financial climate that people would try that bit harder to keep people happy . My brother in law had a woman reverse into the side of his Jeep after 3 weeks of owner ship. A minor rather than major accident. Dropped car off to be fixed......2 months later car returned in worse state than it went in, yes dent fixed poorly, filler not rubbed down paint all over inside of car Blue his car is green  red paint in the boot scratches on other areas of the car and the list goes on and on and on.

These people should be closed down, does nobody in this day and age have any respect for others property? Oh 3 months now and car still not fixed may have to replace all the leather seats as paint wont come off. It really makes my blood boil

If it's an insurance job, complain to the insurance company, not the body shop.
The second time I rang Churchill they sent out their own engineer to inspect the bodgery. BP Rolls were suddenly a lot keener after that.
