Morning folks, i usually reside in the GP section, but need a few answers to some questions. I just wanted to know, is there anyone who owns a 100HP or indeed any panda who has a baby? i.e. How are you coping? I have a 3 door GP where as the 100HP has 5... But the GP has a bigger boot. Is the boot on the Panda big enough for a pushchair? Unsure as to whether or not it is, so just thought i'd ask a quick question to the people in the know. (y)

Thanks in advance for any replies. :)

David.

We have Bump at the minute with baby due in September, but I fully intend to keep Panda-ing after the birth. With five doors I don't see any problem in getting the baby in and out.

Although most pushchairs these days are huge, you can still get pushchairs that fit easily into the boot of the Panda (and my old Polo - our two daily drivers)... Jane Carrera Pro & Bebe Confort Loola are two that fit. Both have baby seats to make it into a travel system. I've opted for the Jane Carrera Pro with the Matrix car seat (which has a lie flat option as I tend to make longer journeys and having a baby sitting up in the car seat for more than two hours isn't good for its back). There's also a normal car seat called the Rebel Pro, which doesn't lie flat, but in comparison to the Matrix is much lighter. The seat-belt in the rear is just long enough for the car seat, but it's easy to turn off the air-bag with the key if you prefer to use the front seat. My Panda has the sliding & folding rear seat and even with the seat fully back, I can still fit the Jane Carrera Pro in the boot. Although there's not an awful lot of room left in the boot when the pushchair is in, you could still get a few odds and ends and a change-bag in too...

I've also met another Panda owner who has the Loola system and seemed happy with it. They had the baby seat installed in the front passenger seat, and I didn't enquire as to whether it fitted in the rear.

So in short, it is possible to have a Panda, and still have a pushchair and a baby seat... :D
