Hi all just been out in panda and got a "Service coupon expired" message on dash any ideas what it means.?

It means that the car thinks it's due a service. Whether it is or not depends on whether the service indicator was reset properly last time. The fact that this message has come as a surprise to you suggests that it wasn't. No surprise there - mine's given incorrect warnings several times now. I just ignore it.

Message will go out by itself, sure 600 miles time, forgotten exactly now.

If you service it yourself, you can set/reset or totally disable this. I assume you access the OBD2 to reset the oil change anyway?
