In Australia we have some long, boring highways and draconian policing of speeds. In the state of Victoria, for example, the speed camera tolerance is 3km/h. I kid you not.

Hence cruise control is v popular. Fiat is mad to not offer it on the Panda in a markets like ours...

Anyway, I am looking at a few aftermarket options. There is one on Dotshop It and several on eBay.

Has anyone fitted CC? If so, where did you fit the control and what do you think of the unit you bought?

The one on Dotshop isn't cheap - 350 Euro - so if I go that way I want to be confident it works.

The market here is limited for cruise control.

I have hardly ever used it on my various non Fiat cars here in the UK.

I will miss having cruise control when I get my Cross. I really liked using it when I hit a long stretch of road works with those average speed cameras.
I even played with it in 30mph zones but only on long enough stretches that I knew and drove often.
It just means I cant sit cross legged anymore;-)

I couldn't find that as an option, did you have to order it specially?

I tend to agree, the response was over the top [and so was the deleted post!!] plus this isn't the first time that I have been alerted to certain retorts.

Thread tidied.

Thread locked, I am not going to tolerate any further abuse, either by PM or otherwise.

If you feel you can't do that, then your time on this forum will be short-lived.

EDIT - thread re-opened to continue the discussion. Apologies to the OP.
