Just discovered in have no boot light. Not a big deal. Was going to stick on a little led lamp. Anybody done this? Any recommendations please :D

In the boot, where the boot light would fit, see if there's a connector. If its there, see if its live. If there's no power, powering it gets a little more complicated getting the body computer to recognise it. Easiest option might be a genuine Fiat one, if the power is there.

The space where the oem light fits is solid and needs to be cut out. Happy to stick on an led lamp. Just wondered if there were others that had done this. Thanks for your advice though. :D

I think there is no switch fitted as I can only open the boot with a key. No remote central locking and no button on boot.

Hi. Hi be just taken all the trim off the side of the boot and there is no wiring for the boot lamp. I'd bought the fiat part lamp already. So that's going back on eBay.

Thanks for reporting back - saved me delving under the trim on our 1.2 pop. LED stick on light then!

That's my plan B. Haven't decided on a PIR version or push on/off version just yet. Not sure how the PIR will react to the movement of the vehicle or any contents of the boot that might roll around.
