My existing Panda has been a bit poorly recently, mainly to do with her dualogic gearbox and some computer glitches. I've decided it is time to trade her in ( 54 registered) and went off to look at new 500s. I tried very hard not to look at the new Panda in the corner because I had decided I didn't want to be practical this time, but eventually I did wander over and quickly came to the conclusion that it was really more what I needed.What if I get a dog? What if I want to go camping/to Ikea/do masses of shopping/have 4 passengers? All these things are rather unlikely ( except the dog). today I ordered a 1.2 Lounge, black with a red dashboard and charcoal/red seats. It will be with me in about 10 days, and I can't wait. Has anyone else go this colour combination?

We've gone for the Sweet Dreams Turquoise (why do car- and paint-makers feel the need to come up with such names...?!), in Lounge Spec, but with the Dualogic gearbox.

Congratulations, havent ordered black as that's the colour I have now, gone for a white Easy with side strips. Would have liked the red dash board but isnt available on the Easy. Mines been built next week I hope and deliver before the end of Sep.

Mine was available in the spec I wanted "at the docks" so I only have to wait 10 days or so. I have a loan Fiat 500 from my garage at the moment as the current Panda is having some repairs before being traded in. I'm pleased I ordered teh panda as this weekend I've found the boot in the 500 too small for my shopping and the rear visability not good. As the Top Gear review says

"The Panda is super cool. If you own one of these it's a firm middle finger to all the materialistic ******** of new car ownership, be you man woman or child. Although be you child you're sort of breaking the law buying a car."
