well times up for the blue rescue panda... it got me out of the s*** before floyd was running but judgement day came earlier this morning.
The idea was to weld up the rust and hand this lovely little beast over to my son.So actually being organised i took blue to be checked out with an MOT......... (his runs out end jan)...BAD IDEA......it would appear he had a lenient mot last time round. The "whole "of the drivers side has just rotted away passenger side gone from door backwards,and the omega rear suspension trailing arm is totally F*****
In a poor effort to claw back some pennies i did try and let a new mini hit the arse end on the way home...well its fully comp protected ...
Really though i'm gutted , i knew it was bad but.......

Sorry to hear this Gina, but just bare in mind, that if the car had not been in your ( and Grahams ) care, it would not have survived this long.

He has an extremely excellent and low mileage engine
and many other parts that people will find useful and put on their Pandas....

A panda with a Good Body is therefore more desirable than one with a Good Engine.

Engines are easy and cheap to replace

Bodies are not.

Bodies are just an empty shell, and in the case of Pandas a very rusty one at that. The engine - or spirit - lives on. Oh dear, I think I'm getting carried away now...

Don't look at the headlights. I looked at Splutters headlights once and look what happened to him!

Passengerside, got plenty of time so Gainsborough will be fab thanks Anyway it will look more like a real panda with a black patch.

Alan, do you need an indicator lens? I still have the ones you gave me in the garage as I decided orange is kick-ass.

Na I had 2 sets but when I put it on the spare light it would sit flush. Turns out the Mk2 headlight lens is angled from about 1/2" at the top to about 11/2" at the bottom the one i have is the same size all round so sure it's a mk1. But thanks very much for offering.
