Today was the the cultra old vehicle day and the NIIMC had organised taking about 8 cars but only 4 where able to turn up on the day so I tried to sneak in Sylvia to the pre 1983 show but they where having none of it....
So Stu cornered the chairman of the Morris Minor owners club and pointed out that Knight Rider that was parked across from his Ferrari wasn't really pre-83 and Sylvia has a fantastic story and was great advertising for the club and we'd want to promote the American trip with it. So he said 'OK, but don't tell anyone' (so I'm posting it on the internet:devil: )
We got some great pics and there was loads of interest in the panda from people who just thought we where mad (common theme that!) to folk that where interested in a classic car scene/club and just loved the idea of getting involved with a club in a hundred pound car and having a load of fun with it.
Our point was that you don't need a Ferrari to enjoy an Italian:slayer:
