Does anyone have any trouble getting out of 5th when slowing down?

I can always get it out of gear eventually but it sometimes likes a bit of a wrestle.

Can't say I do, my 'box seems to be generally well behaved when dropping down. What's it like going into 5th?

strange, getting into 5th is usually the problem, and staying in 5th an even bigger problem

I don't have any problems getting in & out of 5th

I've never had a problem with fifth (apart from forgetting I've got it )...only third and reverse.

seemingly all these 3rd and 5th problems are on the more modern cable operated gearboxes. Juppy and Sylvia are great but the 750 is crunchy into 3rd like sam's colour panda and 5th is a bit hard to find... i've never driven one before so it's a bit of an unusual experience.

i struggle to get ody into 5th ,definate knack ,coming out though no probs.

5th and 3rd often have issues from what i know.. I had a problem with 5th on my clx.. always had to force it in.. are you using it at too lower speed?.. I'd never touch 5th unless i was doing atleast 60..

Have you tried putting something like molyslip in? it will make gear chaning generally less of a chore...
As for my box now.. it just grinds if i go for 4th to eagerly, no problems with the notorious 3rd or 5th
