After an excellent weekend last year, I am going ahead with organising another weekend this September.

We will be sticking to the same basic plan as last year but with a few changes, due to those changes we have a fixed date this time, rather than multiple choices like last year.

The date:

24th and 25th of September

The plan:

Saturday 24th September:
Everyone to arrive by 12pm at the meeting point in Cheddleton, Staffordshire. Leave around 1pm for a couple of hours of green lanes in the Peak District, tea and cake stop most likely to be included! I will be limiting the number of cars doing the green lanes, this will be discussed once I have more idea of total numbers.

Late afternoon we will head back to base and Saturday evening will either consist of a BBQ and bonfire or a pub visit, this to be confirmed.

Sunday 25th September
Everyone to meet by 9.30-10am, before we head to a local pay and play site for the day. Hopefully this will be a new experience for most! The site is based in a disused quarry around 15 minutes from base and provides a variety of different tracks and obstacles which should put us all to the test! More details can be found here:

http://tickhill-quarry.co.uk/

There is a cost for entering the site, which I believe to currently be £25, I will confirm this once our numbers are sorted. The site is open until around 4pm, but we shall play it by ear and should everyone have had enough before then we can always head to a nearby pub, back to base or people can head straight home whenever they like.

Accommodation:
As with last year everyone is welcome to camp in our field, Friday night included. If a proper bed is preferred I would recommend using the Premier Inn in nearby Leek, although there are a number of B&Bs available locally which can be found online.

If everyone who would like to come along can please copy and paste and add their name to the list that would be most helpful, and any questions please let me know.

Yes, that may be a step to far for the PandaL! I'm sure there will be a spare seat for you Dom, in fact is actually quite fun just being a spectator on foot at the pay and play(y)

Day insurance is a possibility on anything, and as you say watching can be fun too I suppose :)

I'll have to see what funds I have available, as things are going, I'll probably be in negative. (n)
