Dates for two highlights of the 2006 motorsport calendar, Goodwood's Festival of Speed and Circuit Revival, have been confirmed.
The Festival will take place on July 7, 8 and 9 and the Revival on September 1, 2 and 3. The theme for this year's Festival is "Racing for Glory - a Century of Grands Prix" and the cars will honour the various milestones set this year: 100 years since the first grand prix and the first Targa Florio road race, and 40 years since the first TransAm and CanAm series.
The Revival format stays much the same, despite being earlier in the year: Friday is for official practice and qualifying, and a full race timetable will run on Saturday and Sunday, but with more time for special track demonstrations and air displays.
Entry will be by advance ticket only. Watch this page for more information on both events later in the year, or phone the ticket hotline on 01243 755055 if you are a really eager beaver.
