Is it possible to fit a K & N filter on to the carb of the panda, (1 Litre[8D])? I'd have to remove the box filter and fix it the filter hose on with a jubilee clip at both ends. Has anybody else done this? Any help appriciated.

Cheers

yeah they do a K&N for pandas......just a normal bolt on jobbie. but if ur after an induction kit i wudnt bother it wouldnt make you car any faster.if u wanna make it faster sort out the brakes and sus also sort you self out some alloys. with all cars braking and handling is worth up2 50bhp when driving.

Hi,
K&N's filters are the first job I do on a Panda when I buy one. There is a direct replacement available that sits in the existing box.
The induction kit (to my mind) isn't worth the bother.

HHmmmmmmm

Thanks for your replies, wasn't gonna bother with an induction kit.

Rich your said improve my brakes, and suspension. how? already got alloys on it, think they are originals but dont know, 165/13.

I know the panda doesn't have a servo for the brakes, so to improve braking i STOMP on the middle pedal, lol.

hey. well get lowered sus and gas shocks. alloys with a wider profile. and drilled and grooved disc, braided brake hoses and find a panda with a servo from a scrap yard. then when it comes down to it your car will handle better when either racing or just goin faster so u make up the speed on other cars with the K&N ect.

yeah i know a K&N wont make any difference ive said that earlier. im just saying braking and handling can be like an extra 20bhp. no point having the speed then almost stopping to go around corners.

I'm a He.

And someones saying a K&N will give you extra speed? On it's own I doubt it very much.. maybe a few extra hp, but the only thing you'll gain is the typical boy racer noise.

And Panda Fan, I didn't diagree with what you posted, nor did I question your knowlege, so why that comment?

The standard shocks are the hydraulic type...it's a Panda, not a Gt car:D!!
