my bro came home with a van, well, it used to be a van - its had the back cut off and made into a pickup type jobby. anyyyway, it's not as quick as the long wheel base sprinter he had before.

are they easy to map, what happens if i just played with the wastegate to get more boost?

You'd probably run into problems with fuelling. Or worse.

You tried looking to see if you can get a tuning box or something? Not the best solution to tuning a tdi, but they do work

what does that do? i don't speak babelfish.

The Item proofed the Temperature from the Engine, before it gives the New Power to it.First System that so works,we are the one and only seller from this brillant system.

no idea, sounds too cheap to be true, me smell babelfishs.

311cdi meaning a vito? vito's are minty vans similar to vdub trannies but with tougher engines (vdub trannies eat cyl heads for breakfast).

yes vans can be tuned, but they usually have more agricultral ancillaries than cars so don't expect massive gains. although you can get massive gains, but it'll take more than a remap to get the best out of it.

How do they compare in terms of age, mileage and previous use?

I'd get it serviced before thinking about tuning it.

Think mechanical tuning was ok before ECU's came along, now your just asking for trouble.
