I just spent the last 2 days searching the handbook and internet for the fuse to the hazard lights on my Scudo.
No such thing apparently exists.
Then I came across a site discussing the BSI ( Body Systems Interface ) and how to do a "reboot".
I honestly thought, ( no offence to any technofiles) that this was an April fools joke.
I tried the procedure and exactly nothing happened.
So I removed the panel containing the hazard lights switch , removed dismantled and cleaned the switch, put everything back after testing it and , There you have it , the lights work.
Still don't know if such a thing as BSI exists but that wasn't my problem.
Something simple is usually the answer.

Nothing like premature crowing of success.
I haven't needed to use hazard lights for many months so when I pressed the button the other day,,,, They didn't work. Tapped the switch numerous times and they eventually worked . Frustrating in an emergency. Removed the switch again and tried cleaning the circuit board , replaced everything and it all works again. Anybody know what is going on ?

Now just a follow up on my prior "crowing of success". I bit the bullet and bought a replacement hazard switch from a wreckers in Lithuania on eBay. Received it within a month , replaced it in the van and it actually works . Hasn't failed because I check it occasionally. Whatever the problem it was in the switch . Sometimes some things can't be fixed , and need replacement.
