Hello newbie here acquired an 04 idea 3 mths ago,not a lot of them about, so thought I'd jump on here to see if there is any other owners about.

Mines about to be scrapped as no-one seems interested in buying it. Shame really was a good car just needed a diesel for work...

Very blinkered market

The one I helped buy was up for £1450..21k miles..

Neighbour paid £750

But sold it for £500 and bought a V8 disco

Mine was the 1.4 Eleganza version, added the chrome dial surrounds off the lancia model to posh it up a bit, added the later silver front grille and the later headlights with clear indicators (off a mk2 multipla, same headlights). Great car, very few problems. Only thing up with it at the moment is a blow on the exhaust, one parking sensor faulty and the oil pressure sensor isn't working.

But even at £300, no-one even enquired about it. So it's getting weighed in as scrap next weekend
