Garden decor

Hi - new to all this forum stuff so donít know if this will work, but weíve had my mumís 5 door 127 in the garden for the last 17 years and donít know what to do with it or if it has any value to anyone. Condition is fairly rusty but could be a lot worse considering. Jacked it up today to check the brakes and all looks fairly solid still. Has 36k (kilometres) on the clock. It starts and runs ok (apart from brakes binding) and sounds pretty good.
Any suggestions gratefully received!

Re: Garden decor

Welcome to the forum

That does look in surprisingly good condition, considering how long it's been sat there!
Assuming you're looking to sell, have a look at ebay and carandclassic at other 127's which are listed or have sold recently.
I'm not too hot on prices of these, but they're only getting rarer, so I'd expect 4 figures would be easily achievable if you can get the engine running.

Re: Garden decor

Thanks for the replies - much appreciated. Itís a 900CL, left hand drive and currently in France. Planning on bringing it back to the UK later in the summer if thereís any enthusiasts whoíd like to have a look. It starts first time and sounds really sweet. Thing is I canít find any 5 door 127s for sale anywhere so donít know if theyíre rare or just not wanted. Iíd like to see it find a good home for sure.

Thanks again!

Re: Garden decor

Make sure he isn't going to break it for parts. 127's need to be preserved now..

Re: Garden decor

The 5 door 127 was never sold in the U.K., so thatís why you wonít find any for sale here.

Re: Garden decor

I thought it looked a bit unusual for a '27. I noticed it was 5-doors but the penny didn't drop that those don't actually exist..

Even more reason to fix it rather than break it though. When was the last time anyone saw a 127, never mind a 5 door?
