Hi all,
My 95 Ducato 2.5tdi 8140-47R has no throttle response unless I disconnect the air flow meter then revs fine. Had it checked out and deemed ok. The ECU was checked out and found faulty. Can't find one anywhere apparently can't be repaired. Bosch no 0281001224. Fiat no 46464873. Fiat in Milan can't find one. Any ideas folks. TIA.
Martin.
PS. It's a fly by wire throttle with a remote barrel type throttle potentiometer.

I would try a new airflow meter first even if you have to borrow a known good used one. Lot cheaper and simpler than replacing the ecu if it turns out to be the AFM.

Thanks guys. Wise words. Would a 95 Ducato have a transponder. My key doesn't look like it has a chip. Also should I have a 12v feed to the air flow meter. TIA.
