Hey, FIAT friends! Mike Kerswell, here. Recently purchased my first FIAT (2013 500 POP), and LOVE it! I live in Northern Utah USA - I've been a member of a few European Car Clubs and a SAAB enthusiast since purchasing my first 99 EMS in 1987.

My car has been misfiring - one cylinder - only at idle. I've replaced all spark plugs with NGK Iridium and swapped-in a new coil on cylinders 1 and 4, with diagnostic reading continually pegged at "Cylinder 1". I've pushed through two Sea Foam treatments and run 91 octane, currently. Looking for my next step - avoiding the dealership service center. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum :)

Have you checked the wiring to the coils for damage/corrosion? The other thing I'd be inclined to carry out is a compression test to rule out headgasket failure.
What are you using to read the codes? MultiECUScan is the best software available for these cars and is worth investing in if you plan to keep the 500 for any length of time.

It is indeed worth checking the wiring.. but often these codes are a tad misleading ..
Not necessarily a 'misfire' as such.

MULTIECUSCAN..
Excellent product.. BUT it may not offer full support to US model FIATs.
