I had a recent very expensive clutch replaced including the dmf. After less than 20m the master cylinder goes. I'm now sceptical about the work should I be??
I am new to this forum and I don't know a massive amount about vans. I have doblo 07 1.9d van with rear door only not sure if that helps.
Thank you for any helpful reply's any advice appreciated.

When my van which is the same year and model as yours had a clutch the mechanic replaced the clutch hose pipe the wrong side of the engine mount leaving it vulnerable to being worn through, fortunately I spotted it.

It may well have been removed as part of the clutch job.

Are they paying for the fix..??

If not get the alternate mechanic to let you know how tidily the job was done.

Ouch!!
Well done for spotting it ?

What actually broke the master cylinder is vague, A fluid leak ? broken push rod ? mcyl body damage?
The earlier cylinders were\ are a plastic \ composite including the push rod, had them break on our vans without changing anything, made some new ones 20minutes bit of a fiddle but easily do able never had a cylinder.
The vans had under 100k on them, the only one we have left has 160k
