Hi everyone, I'm looking for a bit of advice on what torque should the drive shaft bolts, be on the front. Having problems with the steering. Recently replaced the electric steering column. New tyres tracking ect. We're wondering if these bolts are loose or to tight. Any help appreciated
Cheers ?

It’s a pretty rare car only 100 or so in the uk, as a result it was never featured in any of the normal workshop manuals.

You best bet would be to try ringing a fiat dealership and seeing if someone friendly will give you the torque setting, however be warned, fiat dealerships are rarely useful or friendly in this way

Welcome to the forum.

As you have said 1.9 I'm guessing you have the HGT JTD. I don't know if the diesel engine has a different toque specification to the petrol version but for both my HGT 130 and Bravo HLX 115 (same engine and box) the hub nut torque was 70Nm.

It’s possibly right, but the HGT MJT has a totally different gearbox to all other puntos, as has different drive shafts, and most of the front suspension is updated, to carry the weight of the engine but give a sporty performance
