Hi everyone, I joined today as I have need of your help. I have an airbag ecu problem, apparently, and I need to replace it. I have found a company who will supply me one for £100 or so, but they need the serial number. That is my problem as I don't know how to remove the plastic trim from around the gear lever to enable access to the ecu. Has anyone done this job? can anyone offer me some guidance please?

Got help elsewhere. ECU is on floor in front of gear leaver behind plastic panels below dash under carpet. Bit awkward and fiddly to get at but not that difficult.Took photo sent to company called Airbag Team, who sent new one £120.
