Tipo what mpg are you getting

120 1.6 mjet, two very different scenarios, long journeys with cruise control as near as can be 60mpg, town high 30’s

Whit my Fiat Tipo Station Wagon 1.6 Multijet (diesel) 16v I'm getting 46mpg (6.1 l/100km), mainly intercity drive.

been on a run to holy island in Northumberland set the cruise control to 50 mph and I got a return of 57 mpg, then around town back to 35 mpg so I think that`s the best I will get

Having driven over 6,000 miles now, I can now say that driving style doesn't influence the fuel consumption as much as I thought it would, it's the route you are driving on, can make a big difference. Changing up early didn't make any difference at all.

So I no longer need to drive gently or whatever, just drive to my own comfort and rev up when needed which is a good thing as I now know that it doesn't affect MPG :), only just higher speed does, e.g. by going over 70mph.

What I'm saying that it is good on long A & B routes but not so good on town traffic so I tend to avoid any heavy traffic in centre, by going around by ring or link roads.

i have done 10200 miles now I travel 26 miles to work in total 3 days a week then its granddads taxis the remainder, I constantly shift gear and very rarely do a long run I average about 36/38 mpg around town, which is better than at first, just had the 1st service done.

I have a 1.6 e-torq auto saloon. Driving around town I get like 7.8-8.0l/100km (35mpg), but when on open roads and maintaining around 90-110, I get about 6.2l/100km (46mpg). For a petrol engine I think, it's quite good.

I have a 1.4 turbo 140 hp in my Delta, and the computer says for the winter months I get about 48 mpg, and 50 mpg for summer.
Four up and holiday luggage, driving around East Sussex and Kent last August I still maintain ed about 50mpg....On the odometer is close to 50 k.

I have the Starjet 1.4 95 ps on my tipo saloon, with engine tune and catback, i am doing 7L/100Km average, at normal speeds, and 8L when speeding

just been on a round trip to the north of Scotland, I averaged 57/60 miles mpg which I am very happy with especially with a petrol engine, I am now on 14500 miles my next major service is due in oct 18 I have a monthly service plan with my local fiat dealer how is everyone else doing with their Tipo`s.

I have the 1.4 95 bhp Tipo which I finally bought after about 18 months of thinking about it. I'm on 3000km so here are my "computer" figures:-

[ame]https://youtu.be/YRbUFQOMLv4[/ame]

100kph: 5.2l/100km / 54 mpg UK / 45 mpg US
110kph: 5.6l/100km / 50mpg UK / 42 mpg US
120kph: 6.3l/100km / 45 mpg UK / 37 mpg US
130kph 7.0l/100km / 40 mpg UK / 34 mpg US

This was using 95-E10 unleaded at 26C with the aircon on 2.

Real consumption was 6.6 litres/100km (42mpg) for mixed driving (6.0 l/100km on the computer).

on 23000 miles now since new just had a new battery fitted as this failed and have had a new cruise control switch fitted, and a new update for the city button which also failed when the battery failed. all seems ok now, car just
over 2 years old. mpg still ok ish, I do a lot of town driving and short journeys sometimes I only get 29 mpg, but I like the car and have driven fiats for nearly
50 years now.

I'm on 3500 miles in my 2018 1.4 T-Jet 120 and i'm now getting 32-33mpg. Far from amazing but seemingly par for the course looking at what others are reporting. It's a very perky engine that seems to punch well above its weight though, so i'm not too disappointed. Diesel definitely still has a place though - I'd have been getting near 50mpg in my 1.6 JTDm 120 Alfa Giulietta over the same journeys - this is the same engine used in the Tipo so I reckon I'd have ended up with very similar results here.

Not much help, but I have the 1.3 diesel and I'm getting up to 76 mpg on journeys according to the trip computer. It appears that brim to brim, the computer is showing approximately 5mpg more per tankful than I am actually getting.

I currently drive a 2010 Bravo 1.6MJ 105HP. I am quite diligent about my fuel economy and found over time that the dashboard is always about 10% over optimistic on consumption. I am clocked in KM and have 313,500 on the clock. The car regularly says 3.9-4.2 LTRS/100KM but I calculate a nearer 4.6 (58/59mpg)

Thankfully so far the Tipo seems to be quite accurate on the trip computer as I've worked it out manually to within 1mpg of what the trip computer was saying. On previous cars they've been optimistic like your Bravo and I was thinking I really hope the Tipo wasn't being optimistic as the MPG figures are already pretty low, without having to take off even more! :p

I’m getting 57.6 in a 1.6 diesel, daily commute is about 110 miles with 100 of those motorway. About 4500 miles done

Although, when I reset the trip no matter the journey it always seems to say 57.6, with ACC on or me doing the work. It’s in line with what others are saying but I’m starting to think the computer is on the blink

My 1.6 M-Jet averaged 40 over the last month. I know it looks bad, but my commute is fairly short and it only just gets fully warm at this time of the year.
It also did a regen.

We'll be travelling more as time goes on and it should improve, its only done 1500 miles since December

1.6 mjet diesel station wagon, and I do a regular 170 mile journey which is mainly motorway, and last few runs in mpg were:-

68.2
64.6
69.6
69.6

All on Tesco diesel, and with one short stop each journey.

Figures from trip computer, but they seem to reflect reality. Journey is around 20 miles A road 150 miles motorway, with probably about 1/3 of that in some form of speed restriction, either due to congestion or miles and miles of roadworks!! Therefore a big chunk is done at 50mph with cruise control on which makes the figures look better of course.

Not measured so carefully elsewhere but local running get a more typical 47mpg which is an approx.

Has anyone noticed how the North East is losing it`s Fiat dealers, I bought my Tipo at GMD who then went out of business, I transferred to Springfield Gateshead who have stopped selling Fiat, and have just been taken over by Sherwoods who have no dealings with Fiat, the only dealer left is Richard Hardie Sunderland which is a bit of a chew to get to especially early in the morning, not happy
