My wife and I are retired Brits living in Wild West Spain.
We bought a bright (Ferrari) red 500C new three years ago and love it.
It is our run-about, as we have other vehicles for other purposes.
All was well until the roof started playing up today; and boot locked.
Got the shopping out through the back seat.
So, I found this forum using Google and searched the 500 threads until I hit
on a similar problem posted four years ago.
I performed the roof reset sequence described there (not in any of the docs we
got with the car) and bingo; problem solved.

Whilst we get by in Spanish quite well, the thought of even describing our
problem to the local garage (the FIAT dealers we bought the car from have gone
bust) was quite daunting, so ten minutes on the Internet was an excellent
alternative.
