I just joined because I have a question that no one in my antique car club seems to know the answer to and that is; if I am standing at the front bumper of my 1980 Fiat 2000 Spider and I'm looking at the engine compartment, towards the windshield, which way will the engine crank?

The engine hasn't been started in years and after I remove the plugs and squirt some Silicone Lubricant in each cylinder, I want to hand crank it 3 or four rotations before I try to start it!

In common with all of the Fiat twin cam engines, your engine will turn clockwise when viewed from the front.
