I have a 2010 Fiat 500 and have just got a replacement key for my car. What is the easiest way of being reprogrammed? Is there a way that I will be able to do it myself? I have the car no where near a Fiat dealership so there is no way of bringing it there.

If you've ordered it for your car then yeah. I can't see why FIAT would send you a 'blank' key. If you've given them all the details associated with your car then they'll have all the codes to programme into the new key.
