I found you with Google.

I have a '97 Ducato 2.5D. 180k on the clock. Engine Fine. Gear synchros worn, but I think this is a common problem. Not sure if clutch has ever been replaced. The clutch pedal is high, and I wonder if this just means the cable is stretched. I have tried adjusting, but this seems to control the clutch more than the cable. I appreciate any help you can offer.
