Like others of you I was told by my local Fiat dealer, that although Fiat sold a tool for fitting rear suspension bushes, they did not sell the bushes separately. Brilliant!!! However, I went to see my local mechanic and he obtained a set of bushes without any trouble at all. Unfortunately, he was unable to fit the bushes as he could not find a tool to do it. I haven't asked the Fiat garage yet if they have a tool, but I'm betting that they don't. Therefore, my question is, does any one out there know of anyone who has the tool and can do the job? I live in Fareham, Hants., but am prepared to travel a considerable distance if I have to. Even to the extent of getting B & B, should it prove necessary. I am a newbie, but I think this site is excellent.I have learned a great deal already. I hope that someone out there can help me.

Howdy and welcome to the forum ..its been four hours since you posted this so I would imagine your quirey has been answered in the stilo tech section :D good luck you will need it ..not a job for the faint hearted :)

My bushes where changed by the garage a bought the car from (not Fiat)

I don't know how they did it but they never mentioned using a "special tool"

They did say it was a pain in the cnut though!

Hi.Its me again. The latest in my Stilo rear bushes saga is that I found a chap who specialises in Fiats. He had never done Stilo rear bushes before, but said that he would be able to do them ok. Well he did, charged me for 4 hours work at a cost of £169( I already had the bushes) Very reasonable I thought.
