I have to replace the heater fan switch on one of my 105 JTDs with aircon.
Does anyone know if there are alternative switches that will work?
I have obtained a second hand one from a scrapper, but the high speed and supply terminals look a bit blackened, so, as one has to disembowel the dash to get to it, I would prefer to be more confident in the replacement.
Alternatively, does anyone have a good one for sale???

The replacement switch that fits the 105 JTDs without the "auto" fan setting (sensor in the dash under a little grill below the heater controls) and with the rotary controls (I think the later version with the bulbous bumper has slider controls and the switch is much larger with a built in light - it might fit the earlier ones and vice versa, but I didn't try it) is the :

hats off to the guy "Imacri" who described the dashboard removal (see thread : Removing the entire dashboard - you need to follow the procedure absolutely or it will break - I practiced on one in a scrapper so I was lucky - there are pop-in plastic clips stuck to the underside of the covers, you will probably need to restick these as the glue is very old!

Good luck ter yer all
