I'm looking for some advice on the following problem.
I've got a Fiat Mulitpla JTD ELX (115) that was 3yrs old in September.
I had it serviced at Fiat end of July for a 36k service (it had done 32k). Then it failed its MOT on a brake hose which I had to get changed but since both of these occasions I have had trouble starting it (would turn over but not start).
I booked it in with a different Fiat who put it on the diagnostic machine and said it was the battery, then when that got changed they said it was the key and as I didn't have a spare I purchased one. It took them 2 weeks to get a new key but they let me have the car back, charged me just over £200 and said it was fixed.
I've had it back a week and it has started doing exactly the same thing with the new and old key. I notice that when it doesnt start my yellow key symbol does not appear on the dash. Anyone got any idea what it could be and how much it should cost? I could do with knowing as I think Fiat are ripping me off big time and I've already spent almost a grand on the car getting it through its first MOT.
Any help or advice would be great, thank-you
