Hi I found what looks like an OBD plug under my dash. So decided to invest in an usb code reader. Unfortunately I says it can’t read or find, (or something) the protocol. Any ideas or is my multi not compliant. I’m using scantool-net, ver1.13

can u show me where is your OBD socket located? is yours a 2000 JTD105?

I need to use OBD too, i have a JTD 2001.
The Multipla's with diesels are eobd compliant from 2004 and newer.
In my manual it's written that non diesels are eobd compliant strating from 2001.

So my JTD from 2001 isn't eobd compliant but i think that won't say it will not work at all.
Diesels had to be compliant starting from 2004 so why bother?
I won't mind if i get only some feedback from it but i than still need to know which cable i could use.
Perhaps a old school serial interface cable which i can use directly on my notebook?
