Failed Mot 1st and 2nd time on emmissions, when it passed the next mod was swiftly fitted :devil:

Sounds so good from 2k to 2.5k revs, then quietens until you hit 3k (very deep note) all the way to 4k, then the engine noise overtakes..

Had some trouble with them, ie tyres needed to be switched over from the Sei wheels.. and then spacer troubles (got standard 3mm and 6mm spacers fitted on rears) then local motorfactors gave me bolts that are a bit too long on, so they hit the brake pads in the hubs! :bang:

The wheels are the 14" versions to fit over my GT Brakes.. Bargain at £55 BIN on ebay in Sheffield with new 185/55/14s fitted..

MMmmm shiny bits Absolutely loving your car mate, subtle, clean and smooth, you can't go wrong really with that recipe.

Looks smart and you cant go wrong with that price for the wheels...

is it the 6 speed gearbox out of the punto? i found it lowered top end speed quite a lot in the one i drove ;x

very shiney, i heard the six speed out of the mk1 couldn't handle much power

AFAIK the 6 speeder does sacrifice top end speed for fast acceleration. Don't think it would be an annoyance unless you do quite a bit of motorway driving and short 6 speed sounds so fun for a normal driving

yea it is alot better down the bottom end, 1st and 3rd seem to pull a hell of a lot more than my old box, top end isnt very good though, 70mph is 4k lol, but i do motorways maybe once a month tops, and even at 4k its silent inside apart from the decat sound :yum:

Just been offered a respray by a friend, he owns a bodyshop & garage specialising in modified cars, does corsa widearch kits& 2L converions mainly, he has 2 litres of metallic red/violet left over from a previous job, i have slightly fading paintwork, and he will get rid of all the tesco rash and smooth doors/bonnet/boot if i want, so he can add it to his portfolio... :chin:
Now my stereo has decided it doesnt want to play any sort of bass noise, wont power sub through remote cable, and rear speakers have gone awfully quiet. And to add to the annoyance, my iPod told me this morning (when i was driving to work) that it has no battery power left, even though it has half indicated on the bar, and to take it to Apple to fix! :bang:

hi, u said your wheels were 185/55/14s. would 195/45/15s fit on a standard cinq, planning on lowering 40mm aswell would these wheels fit ?
