saw one of these at the dealers yesterday and the front end looks really good.quite like the stripes too

not sure having the "sporting" pedals is much of an advantage, as on my punto if I get in with damp soles from rain then my feet slip off the pedals easily (even after wiping my feet rigorously on the mats).. so not sure why you'd want even slippier pedals?! You can't really see them down in the foot well anyway so why bother with the aesthetics!?

i just realised it got too many doors
They are only half metal. They have rubbery bits on too. You can see them in the footwell - you did! Or as you can't see the outside of the car when you're driving it, whay bother with the stripes? Was just looking at the photo's in your sig, It's a nice little car. I don't like the look of the plastics on the dash and c/console, however it's a budget car so you aren't going to get the very best!
Tell me though, is it a Diesel? I'm sure it is, but the rev counter goes up to 7K usually diesels run out of puff at about 4.5k revs!

Mine redlines at just under 5k revs and shows 6k revs on the counter. Dont know where the limter is though...It is definitely a diesel (either that or I've put the wrong fuel in! :eek). The rev counter does go up to 7k, but there's no red line on it. I don't know what the redline is, and haven't found out as I'm takin it easy for the first 1000 miles or so. The dash plastics aren't as bad as you'd think. They do sound a bit thin when you tap them, but it all seems well screwed together. The door pockets are noticably thin plastic though.
I should point out that the seats aren't as bright red as they look in the photos. I think the flash has brightened them up.

Fiat dealerships generally reccomend you dont take it easy, that you horse it fown the motorway for a little whilse intsead stright away, dont know if you were recommended
