I've read it's not so bad if you're staying above 40mm.

There she is though, exactly as I bought her (minus the photoshop suspension drop - overwrote the original - woops!)

After a good clean I had a nosey and found a few things I'd like to sort:

- Wheel refurb (or new wheels)
- Heater new resistor (arrived today needs fitting)
- Black side indicators (arrived today)

Do excuse the dirt!

- Exhaust
- Needs re-remapping as I suspect it's not standard.
- Lowering springs (35mm H&R in the post)
- Abarth Steering wheel, gear knob and pedals
- Abarth Aerial
- Spacers (anyone got measurements which are good?)
- Rear tinted windows
& a few other things to come!

I've also fitted a Ramair filter in place of the standard airbox. No noticeable difference in power however once an intercooler is on then I'll probably go down the Forge route.
Anyway, that's a wee introduction of a lot to come. Once it's machine polished, ceramic coated, lowered and then realigned then I think I'll start to be happy with how it is. I'll keep the build thread updated though, so watch this space!

Soo.. Few little bits done today.

Changed out the front side lights and rear plate lights for LEDs.

Also added my HID bulbs back in.

Unfortunately though, the bloody ESP error has flagged up again. Hoping it's just the brake pedal switch and nothing more. Diags tomorrow!

Seems I can't edit the original post...

Head my headlight beams re-aligned yesterday. It's like having new headlights..

New springs and top mounts going on tomorrow hopefully.

Few electrical issues cropped up too, so need those looking at.

Engine is running like a turd too so need to check hoses and boost solenoid, recirc valve etc. Hoping it's a minor issue.. (jinxed it now)

Diagnostics show I need to replace the abs speed sensor and right front phonic wheel..

Had a tinker in photoshop tonight too.

So. Springs fitted yesterday. Found out exactly why my ABS isn't working.

That's the correct wiring - through a plug - ft. My new springs!

Mine was like this...

Clearly had an issue before so someone has completely bypassed the plug. Ridiculous. Got to get that sorted.

Next up is tyres and alignment!

Start of the year has been a good one for the car.

New tyres, Toyo Proxes T1R fitted.
Springs settled nicely too.
ABS and TC repaired, and spacers on too!

She's booked in for exhaust and alignment soon too!

Jeez been a while..

Been struggling to love the car but we're getting there..

Alignment has been done - 7mm out at the rear left and little adjustment.. Scrubbing a bit at the rear occasionally but it's not too bad!
