Panda Elepanza

Introduction

So just re-acquired a 2004 Panda I sold a couple years ago.
Problems are, I don't think its been cleaned since I last owned it :yuck:
The climate control only blew cold, an the electric mirror switch is snapped.
It didn't have a radio, that was in pieces in the boot and the gear gator was gross and split so I have already removed that ready for the replacement.

here it is,

Pre cleaned seat, :yuck:

Gave them a once over, but I'll replace them soon I think.. and got the radio fitted and the awful climate control system fixed so I have hot air!:worship:

Thanks for the pictures and guide I very much appreciate it! I think the part has been removed from my car, look at this pic! I bought it from a dealer last month.

Well i'd take it back
Heats never going to come on without it.

Obviously someone has found the problem an started fixing it, then sold it to the dealer or auctioned it.

I doubt the dealer would have noticed.. I am sure they wouldn't have knowingly sold it like that.

Changed the light bulbs in my spot lights to LED

The 'high beam' light doesn't seem very bright... so if you know of any good LED headlight or fog light bulbs please let me know. (y)

Also spent about 3 hours customizing my Panda seat runners to take my drivers seat as the seats I bought had bent runners and wouldn't slide.
An the panda runners left the seat about 3inches higher then it should be, So all I could see was the rear view mirror and the edge of the roof. :p

Not all done yet, need to cut/get smaller rear bump stops, need some new brake lines too as one snapped and I am going to replace the flexies as they are looking a bit past it.
Got new flexies to go on the front, front height needs raising to match the back.
But it fits pretty well, I am happy with how far it brings the wheels out. :yum:

Also please check under your bump stops!! One of the bump stop mounts has totally rotted out under the stop, so I need to get a plate done for that.

They should be... better foam shape on sides of base and back, unless the foam has split under the fabric. Got the same ones in our Sporting.

Front seats seem to be identical to the Eleganza ones.
The Eleganza had a split rear and rear head rests and the red one is just a basic bench like my Dynamic.

The Dynamic front seats seem much more basic, less supportive and less adjustment.

Got the front height adjusted, I am pretty happy with the setup now.. Some smallish front spacers coming this week, to bring the front wheels more inline with the back.

Also cleaned up all the wheel arches and underside where the paint and chipped off and got it primed.
