My jtd is looking a bit old here and there so today I started work on getting the bumpers back to black (ish) with a heat gun and it looks loads better...
Before... more than a bit battered as you can see
and now...
you can really see a massive difference, off out now to do the rest.
It was really straightforward and so quick with just my cheapy heat gun, it even makes the scratches less visible . and I used some cardboard to protect the paint when doing the bits close to the metal, it worked fine but there might be better things to use?

Boiled oil sounds very safe... But more seriously, when I googled using oils some people had issues with dirt sticking to it... didn't happen to you? Only some oils?
