Yep - here is a picture of my buggy next to the next 2+2 seater.

Done some more work on it - engine has ported head and road cam + stainless steel manifold and dcat.

It does not sound or move like a 1.1 Seicento any more

What cam did you go for ?

A piper fast road - Scolar Engines did all the work including setting up the cam - I just had to re install the head.

Got to have a sit in the Mischief machine myself today . And have a listen to it... the cam does make the idle sound lovely. I also got to meet the very friendly owners DRSIK (& son? - presumed!). Lovely vehicle and very comfy indeed for us slightly larger ones lol.

Having had chance to clamber aboard The Mischief Machine aswell today, I want one. With a turbo :devil:

Next time I will see if you guys can get a quick spin in it - it drives even better than it feels

Quick thoughts guys - leaving ALL other components in place....what is the feasibility of swapping the bottom end to either 1.2 or 1.4. ?

And what would it do to the performance ?

Reminder - Currently it is:-

1.1 8V Spi std ECU IAW 16F
Ported and polished head with Piper fast road cam
Stainless steel 4-2-1 decat exhaust (with spare cat for MOT use)
40mm "Sparky5" throttle body (ace)
GSR Induction kit

Presumably unless much has changed since my days here, the spi 1.2 bottom end is literally a bolt in swap as standard about 6hp extra but 1/3 extra torque due to the longer throw iirc.

Little rusty but believe the above is correct

yeah thats pretty much it.. you could use a mk2 punto kinda age 1.2 bottom end too - or basically any 1.2 8v FIRE bottom end and it will drop straight in without any changes.
