Hi all,

I have been looking around at the comments made on here about poor cold starting and so on.

My 07 1.2 GP has never let me down and i've had it from brand new, however i am starting to get increasingly poor MPG. On one occasion the engine tried to stall on a long run to work which meant i had to keep the revs on in neutral and so on, plugged her in and there were no faults stored and this never happened again (this was over a year ago now).

I have recently done a full service on the car including plugs in an attempt to iron out the cold start issues i was having, the car starts first time but sometimes takes some cranking in the cold, my main concern is the fuel economy. a full tank isnt seeing 300 miles and im registering an average of 37 at the very best of times. (although my basic maths indicates that at 45 litres to the tank or nearly 10 gallons, im not even averaging 30MPG)!!!!(n)

can anyone confirm if this sounds like the MAP fault that seems so common or do i want to be looking at other areas?

Cheers

Rob
