Punto Evo My Punto EVO Eleganza 1.4 MultiAir

Introduction

Here's some pictures of my 1 day old (21/4/2010 I got it) Punto EVO in Ambient White.

I have upgraded all the bulbs to xenon/LED look bulbs, put chrome coated indicator bulbs in front and rear lights the same day I collected it.

Had mudflaps fitted as I personally like the look of them.

Bulbs are really really easy to change, just follow the owners manual.

The fogs were hard though  Had to take some of the grill off!

I have ordered a european fog light so my reverse light will be red but it will look symmetrical (y)

All my bulbs are made my MTEC including the DRL's.

Only my indicator bulbs are Philips Silver Vision ones.

Dont suppose you know off hand what the bulbs are,, i.e. H1 or ???

Gona change the DLRs & mains.

I bought the official Fiat chrome boot strip to go on my EVO as seen in this photo:

My EVO elganza has a chrome strip on the front with the Fiat badge. Chrome strips on the protective side mouldings and then none at the rear ....

I'm hoping it will look like it was properly designed to look that way all along as it wouldn't suit a Grande Punto which has no other chrome (in my opinion it wouldn't suit it anyway).

Has your chrome strip turned up yet?

I've fitted the sidelights & headlights now :) looks sensible but good!

Phillips Blue Vision Headlight bulbs are great, flashed my girlfriend & she had an epileptic fit on the driveway then she did the same while i looked at them and i still cant see out of 1 eye (y) and they've got a nice Xenon look to it.

Sidelights are good, but they dont give off any light even at night lol but there is a nice blue glow at night... the Philip's Bluevision Sidelights i got are nice, match the headlights well but i think style wise the funky blue is better looking + DRL's are on while sidelights are on anyway so light-shed doesnt matter too much

Ordered the same mtec DRL lights as you've got...waiting for them to arrive now.

which fogs did you get? though, if you had problems with fogs i'm tempted to leave em.
I'll add pics to mine when there all done.

I have MTEC Cosmos Blue H11 bulbs at the moment for the fogs and H4 for the headlights but I recently bought Ring 100% brighter (UK's brightest road legal bulbs) for the fogs as the mtec bulbs I use don't give off AS much light even as standard bulbs so the new bulbs in the fog lights will be super bright compared to the ones I got now and they are really bright anyway.

So quite excited about that lol

And chrome strip is fitted :)

Fitted new fog light bulbs ... Ring Xenon Max 100% brighter (brightest road legal bulbs ever made).

Well lets just say that you could see them from the moon. They are so stupidly bright that they beam further than my headlight bulbs. Fog lights don't do that, well they do now haha.

They don't have the Blueish look that I liked from my MTEC bulbs previously but they weren't that good on peformance. I've chosen function over style.

I'll upload a photo when it gets dark tonight but it probably wont be that easy to tell as they will glare hideously as they're so bright.

I reccomend them to anyone, and you can't get Philips Xtreme Vision ones as they don't come in the right fitment for the EVO's fogs which is H11

Sounds like fun, though i've been getting flashed with my blue visions so i've had to dip them to -2 .... Fog lights aswell might be alittle over the top :p

Ok so after a few days with the new fogs I've taken some photo's whilst on my drive

First picture is with the normal headlights on and no cornering fog:

This second picture taken seconds later is with the left conering fog on and from the same shot angle:

The difference the Ring Xenon Max bulbs make is well clear!!!

The next picture couldn't get the quality I was looking to get becuase the bulb was SOOOOO bright the camera couldn't handle it lol

They are great :D

The website seems to indicate that the DLR bulbs are LED however looking at them in the dealership they look just like normal bulbs. What are they?

Got some pressed aluminium number plates made up for the car, for two reasons.

I wanted my plates to be stuck on not bolted, and I like the raised numbers as they are pressed in the metal :D

Here are some photo's and at £40 I'm very happy with them, look really upmarket
