driveability - pretty crap at constant speed. Makes 0.3-0.4bar boost from below 2k, but has very little torque up to 3k. As soon as you get to about 3.5k youre making 0.5-0.6bar of boost right up to the redline with plenty of torque. Really dont know why this is - was similar before the conversion.

Crap cruising is made up for when you put the foot down though - power from 3.5k to 6.5k, when in the right gear overtaking feels utterly awesome and always feels like you are taking the **** slightly.

I wouldnt like to guess on a 0-60 until i test it with a proper timing device, but let me just say that 0-60 isnt really important, especially since you have to change gear twice.

Top stuff mate, i was waiting for this to emerge and missed it by a week.
Looks epic, i really like the green bits too (y) Are the other wheels coming back when its all sunny and theres a lack of salt on the road???

Oh and get vid of it, i want to hear it.

cheers mate! nah ive sold those other wheels, ive supposedly got some fresh wheels on their way to me now though.

Video - keep meaning to!

Your car looks amazing! Sorry to ask an "old bloke" question, but how do you go about insuring something with as many mods as that? Is there the sound of maniacal laughter down the phone when you ask for a quote?

Heres some more recent pics from the weekend

First i made brackets for my Mocal oil cooler

This is the best position i could find - avoids the intercooler pipework yet still has fresh air direct from the bumper vent

This is the rest of the setup, with all Mocal stainless braided hose and fittings

Inline thermostat because no space for a built-in one on the sandwich plate

This is my "induction kit" lol

I also bought some silicone radiator hoses from a group buy on puntomk2 - from SFS as well so i was able to get an exact colour match to the rest of the silicone!
So this is what the bay looks like now
