This is what happens when some idiot decides to use your car as breaks. Not impressed at all!! Thankfully no one was seriously injured!

Ouch, was a good looking Punto too, aslong as no one was hurt, sucks though.

Ahhh rubbish buddy, sad to see such a nice car wrecked. Did the accident happen in another place to where the pics were taken as I cant see the car at fault or any bits on the floor?

It happened there! This is just before the tow truck came! there were four cars involved,2 infront of me, and i came off worst of all! Typical!

I know yeah! Spent a bit of time on it an all! Ah well maybe a new project coming out of it! Hgt i think now! I got whiplash pretty bad but thats it no one else injured at all! i wish i could name and shame tbh!

Hope they pay out what its worth, insist on getting your vehicle back as well (3rd partys insurance can't claim salvage if at fault, which they obviously are) and then put it on ebay to help make a bit more money

I had that happen to me a lot of years since and had wiplash pretty bad. I got compen for pain and suffering not a lot at the time but took solicitors advice on medical reports that there wouldnt be anything turn up in the long term which did. I have constant trouble with my kneck and have had 3 operations on my back and another to come in january. Im not saying you will have the same happen to you but dont settle for what they think you should have go for more.

Whoops , that looks like a write off for sure - the boot floor is going to be all over the place.

Hopefully the insurance claim will be pretty straightforward and they don't dispute liability.

Yeah i am gonna persue a claim for injuries etc.. as far as i know the guy just wasnt paying attention!! he was driving a zafira and i hit a volvo! its like jam on a buttie when you squish it!!! you get the picture! just glad he wasnt going at a rediculos speed!! as for insurance im comprehensive and mods covered so hopefully straight forward! only thing is i got a years finance left to pay! which sucks. but i think i got an insurance for that somewhere. hope so!

I wouldn't advise that this Punto be fixed, even if it has only 2days out of the showroom back 4 years ago!

i can understand you wanting parts of his car cause it was a nice looking car but its a bit soon after he only had the crash 2 days ago.

Just thought id update you guys.

Well first off its a write off! which im gutted about in one respect, but then again it means i can get a new car!
Iv been offered £4160 for mine which i thought was pretty dam good. only thing is i have the finance to pay which is £2250 for settlement! which as you can work out i stand to recieve £1910. there is also a personal injury claim going through so fingers crossed i get a bit from that. Im seriously condsidering staying away from finance in the future though. Well anyway every cloud has a silver lining cos im now looking at a stilo 1.4 16v and also the new gp t-jet 120 (which would mean a little finance) which im trying to persuade myself not too do. So anyway hopefully il be in a new car soon. Pictures will come soon after!

I suppose it all worked out of in the end, now its all sorted how are the lowering springs looking? fit for sale
