Introduction

Right then, well...I thought that I should now start a new Members Motors thread as this is the start of moving onto the next level. I've also had a big tidy up so no more lose wires everywhere!! (y)

Before I hadn't really done any 'proper' Mods as such and was holding back abit if i'm honest. but i've had a think and have decided that i'm going to go all out! So there's alot now in the pipeline! :D

Anyway - For those of you who don't know what she looked like origionally when I first picked her up on the 2nd August last year here are a few reminders! :cool:

Anyway: After (a few) modifications (of which most of the details can be found in the previous thread here...) This is how she currently looks as of 19:00 today :D As always opinions and comments are very much appreciated:D

  • Lowered on Eibach Sportlines
  • Black Top Grille
  • Red Fiat Badges (all round)
  • Red Brake Callipers (all round)
  • GSR Induction Kit
  • Removal of Standard Airbox
  • Alpine IDA-X001 iPod Headunit
  • Apple iPod 80GB
  • Alpine MRP-T220 2x70Watt RMS Amplifier
  • Sony XPLOD 12' 1200Watt Subwoofer in Box (Thanks Tom!!(y))
  • Silvatech Silver Indicator Bulbs
  • Richbrook Anti-Theft Valve Caps (Some Idiot Stole My Original Plastic One's!)
  • Chrome Grille Surround
  • Punto Kick Plates
  • Punto Mats (All Round)
  • Thatcham Cat 1 Alarm
  • 6000K Xenon Kit.

yeah I guess once you're a petrol head you stay a petrol head! Those cars are seriously impressive...if you like one and can afford one then take advantage of the hard times everyone else is suffering and grab a bargain!

lol...it's the same as the old one but in a different colour lol! that's all i'm saying (y)

i drove one of them and i wasnt that impessed tbh!
 
btw, whats with the new gsr?

i just cleaned mine out for the first time in about 18 months

lol i'm going to a change of colour...going abit outrageous lol. Technically it's the same kit but it just feels quite abit faster...seems to pick up better for some reason!

haha, the dust they pick up is ridiculous!
 
Just out of interest how much extra was your insurance with the GSR?

lol most likely yeah! Although i've kept the same filter on the end...just the hose that's changed!

It wasn't mate...rang up the fleet department to declare it and the woman was like 'I can't find induction kit' on the system...so she sent me a letter saying that i'd rang to declare it so my insurance is still valid but there's no effect on cost...wasn't gonna point out it may be under 'performance air filter' :ROFLMAO:
 
Thats video is ace man!!!!

I really want to make one in a 1900's style, brown and dead shaky with the border round the edge and old school charlie chaplin piano music over it and the car ridiculusly speed up round the corneres and stuff. would be so LOL.
