For all those who would feel sceptical about eBay related car buying and selling related type stuff - let me say that if you are careful and use common sense, you can't half come up with some bargains. The funny thing is, before I bought this boy, I had emailed the seller of the now infamous 'SPB' Tipo that seems to have been owned by half the users of this website. I am thoroughly glad that the person I emailed had already sold the car - and that I ended up with this one!

The above picture doesn't show the car as it really looked in person, it had one particularly large cave in on the front nearside wing, some rust on the door pillars, a problem on all the painted plastic parts etc etc, but although it might look nice, it just looked like some rough old Tipo.

One respray and a bit of pampering later, here he is today!

The car runs like a dream by the way, even though it has 130,000 miles on it it has an extensive service and care history. He also goes like sh*t off a shovel. The Sedicivalvole logo was removed from the rear, in place of the Granturismo one you now see, although the car IS a Sedici - I'll change him back when I get bored :)

Hope you like him - there are not many of him left in the UK, but he is my second Tipo and one of the best cars I have had. Look at this way, no-one in my works car park even has a Fiat, let alone one of these babys! He still has one or two minor cosmetic issues I need to sort which I won't tell you about but he is still a handsome devil!

My sound system is an amplified Mstation too - got about 200 albums on atm, and my bass bin usually means I exit the car with sensitive ear drums!

looks cool,

but it looks like a hot rod atm, are they usually that jacked up at the back. the gap in the arches seems uneven.

i saw that one aswell, was very tempted to bid, but i have no more space for cars :(

If I had waited 30 more seconds to bid, I'd have got it for £300 - I had viewed the car twice in person, and thought my internet connection would play up if I left it too late! Still got a bargain though.

LOL yeah, it does look a bit higher at the rear - my Tipo DGT was the same :)

hi i paid £400 for mine off ebay but i could of got it cheaper cause i asked him to end it early for £400 he excepted but left it running to the last day and there was no bids on it, bummer:bang: i love it to bits, its been the most fun car i have ever had. it is in very good condiction for its age and it only had 85000 on the clock when i bought it last january, i've put another engine in it from my first one which was a mk2 that had not been looked after and was dropping to bits, but that only had 74000 on the clock so the engine is sweet, i dont know if they changed the steel that they used on the mk2 but it was roated and the electrics had all gone faulty.
