Introduction
Hey guys.
I promised I would share photos of my Focus, so here they are. As I said in my introduction thread, my Focus is a 1999 TDDi Zetec model in white. I got her in 2004 with 127,000 miles, and she currently has 208,000 on the clock. I will be trading her in on 10th November for a Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-Jet (150) dynamic on an 08 plate.
Since these photos were taken, I have fitted a set of modified Focus MK1.5 headlamps (The double-barrel type with the indicator inside the headlight), which I opened up and sprayed black, I replaced the amber indicator lens with a clear one, and used the indicator as a DRL using CREE LEDs.
I will be sad to see her go. Part of my reason for letting her go is that she is really starting to show her age - rust on the rear arches, door bottoms, and the boot are the main issues, plus I have the feeling the clutch is starting to go - the release bearing is starting to rattle (it's the original clutch!). I had bought a replacement boot to spray up and fit, but never got round to it yet. But just totalling up the cash I needed to spend, I decided I would put that instead to something newer with a bit more power.
